to real life is death, which means leaving this life, which is like a dream, forever. But then you wake up to a more persistent self that lives with entities who's dream selves were part of your experience in this life. There are a lot of strange analogical equivalences that we would have to deal with at this point, but this is just a little something to start looking for a scientific type (minimal assumption) explanation of existence that makes sense for the way I've seen it. Foreshadowing in movies is an artificial version of a dreamlike compression of information (when a dream re-represents waking life experience). That would be destiny, where subconsciously we conspire with the universe to express a theme from ???life in a way that appears magical to us.
